A Creative Life by Nherie

Welcome to the Living a Life of Creativity | A Creative life by Nherie newsletter for the month of July.

For several months, I found myself increasingly dissatisfied with a project that was separate from my creative pursuits. Maintaining a balance between my creative journey and practical responsibilities, such as paying bills, has always been a challenge regardless of the season. There have been times when the scales have tipped, leaving me scrambling to regain that equilibrium. I've experienced moments of intense sadness and frustration, to be honest! However, this is not the end of the journey. Through self-reflection, prioritizing rest, and dedicating myself to journaling almost religiously, I recently had a breakthrough. I'm excited to share some of these insights with you in this updated newsletter.

I'm grateful for this dedicated email list, consisting of a few individuals who are truly committed. I have high hopes that something I share will resonate with you.

Wishing you endless inspiration and radiant vibes!

Creative Recovery Lesson

I recently wrote a blog post sharing the reasons behind my decision to dissolve my monthly creative group. It turned out to be a valuable lesson in the importance of reevaluating and not rushing the creative recovery process. Despite its challenges, this experience taught me some positive insights.

Book Club Notes: July

During my week-long trip to Pennsylvania, I had the opportunity to explore a delightful, cozy store that showcased a wide array of exquisite artisan crafts. This visit was part of my regular "Artist Date," a personal commitment I make to myself once a week. If you're curious to learn more about this practice, you can find additional information here.

It's Never Too Late... Or Is It?

In this blog post, I delve into the popular saying "It's Never Too Late" and its impact on my life, both in negative and positive ways. Join me as I challenge this notion and explore its nuances.

Welcome to this month's newsletter for May 2024! Spiritual and Physical Changes It's roughly three months into my personal new year, and there have been a lot of changes. Most seem to be happening on a more spiritual level (this YouTube video 'Challenging My Beliefs...Sharpening My Intuition' is a little intro into that), and I believe this may also be what's behind a few of my new physical symptoms as well: a foggy mind and lingering fatigue (possibly an awakening to something). To...

Happy Mid-April :) Following my March Newsletter, I sat down to craft my next blog post called 'What Letting Go Looks Like,' and I think it does the work of explaining what the last few weeks have been like. It seems to be right on cue with my year-long commitment to purging my stuff and distractions too—more on this next month. I wanted to share another blog post with you, titled '10 Random Ways I Improved My Personal Wellness.' It's not about offering one-size-fits-all solutions; rather,...

Hey Everyone, It's the middle/end of February, and it feels both like a slow-moving month and a fast-moving one. Here's why: I did something different with my vision board this year, which also led me to take on a new mantra for the year - and possibly beyond. My personal new year starts in the month of March. I have been trying this out for almost three years now. What's different this time is that I realize there are so many situations and circumstances that I will have to pass through in...
